Meet Dr. David Lenhart

Education and Experience

Dr. Lenhart attended the University of Michigan for his undergraduate education. He later received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He graduated third in his class with honors from the Academy of General Dentistry and the Academy of Oral Medicine, and was selected for Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honorary Dental Fraternity. He also received the PC Lowry award for achievement in prosthodontics.

Dr. Lenhart graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a specialty certificate in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics and a Master of Science in Dentistry degree (MSD). He was selected by the orthodontic faculty to receive the CWRU award for clinical excellence.

Dr. Lenhart practiced comprehensive restorative dentistry in the Toledo area for a number of years. This experience brings a special understanding of functional occlusion and comprehensive dentistry and its impact on orthodontics. He also has a special interest in interceptive orthodontic treatment and has continued his education in all aspects of his profession.

Outside the Office

Dr. Lenhart and his family are residents of Lambertville, Michigan. He and his wife, Coleen, have been married for more than 20 years. They have three daughters, Sydney, Mallory, and Kylee. Sydney is in Dental School at the University of Michigan, and Mallory and Kylee who are both students at Lourdes University. They also have two Japanese Chins named Loki and Gizmo!

The whole family is very active and enjoys all types of sports and other outdoor activities, such as volleyball, golf, tennis, biking, and downhill skiing. Dr. Lenhart is also an avid Michigan Football and Basketball fan!
